JIM KAAT

Jim Kaat was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022, 39 years after he played his final big league game. The Twins retired his number 36 the same year. Kaat enjoyed a decorated 25-year major-league career spent mostly with the Minnesota Twins. He won 283 games, 16 Gold Glove Awards, and a World Series championship in 1982 with the St. Louis Cardinals. “I never wanted to do anything but play baseball," Kaat said.
